Biggest theme in the book is probably Friendship. Jack + Thorns = Best mates. They got bashed together, they laughed together,they even saved a life together.
The biggest theme in this novel would be friendship like Damo but with some extra touches like it turned out to be a life and death he had a short time to live and he was lucky to have not just a family but a best mate.
