Thoroughbred- The main character in this novel is Thorns, Whose stepdad has a horse who is a thoroughbred. Thorns falls of the horse and falls on the barrier and gets winded.
Pathetic- Thorns says this to his mum because she is always neat and organised.
Kamikaze- Jack who is Thorns best friend says this to him because he didnt want to help Thorns with his list, and that he didnt want to go flying with him because he was a kamikaze pilot.
Tandem- When Thorns horse bolted Jack wanted to ride tandem with him to slow his horse down.
Dramatic- Cassandra who is a girl from school. Thorns said this about her because meaning there was nothing different about her.
Supervise- Mr moriarity was Thorns teacher Thorns told him that he was sick and he had to go to the school nurse so she can supervise him, but he didnt.
Clattered- Thorns was climbing the school and he clattered onto the next level.
Hilarious- Thorns and Jack made a joke and they only thought it was hilarious.
Shaking- Thorns was scared of looking over the edge but then his heart started poubding fast and legs started shaking.
Thinking- When the teacher Mr moiraity got angery because she was doing such a stuiped thing like this. He wouldent think she would do this.
